Having reviewed our vision and values for our school, we decided to rebrand to more accurately reflect these new directions. Sasha Maya was our choice of graphic designer and we were not disappointed! Sasha is not only creative, she also has the ability to work alongside the clients to truly understand what is important and how to best reflect this in her designs.

Sasha undertook research and worked with representatives of the schools Maori community to ensure designs used were portrayed accurately and used respectfully. We were incredibly impressed with her professionalism, creativity and dedication to ensuring her work was reflective of our vision. Sasha communicated with excellence and had the ability to turn our words into designs. I highly recommend Sasha to you.

Always a phenomenal outcome from Sasha. We have been working together for over ten years now and she always manages to  push me and exceed any expectations.

I have the found the process of refreshing our logo and developing new signage extremely rewarding. Sasha facilitates a process where you feel free to express your ideas and give honest feedback on the designs – it felt like I was very much part of the creative process. We now have a logo that reflects our vision whilst honouring the history of the school, and our signage encapsulates the new direction. We are extremely happy with the results!

Thank you for the well needed revamp/refresh and revitalization of our traditional logo for Glenbrook School. You have managed to keep the integrity of our heritage design while adding the Mana that we strive to represent at Glenbrook through our core values. We could not be happier with the end results. Thank you again for your professionalism and the care.

We were in a dilemma – we had had a terrific idea to write a meditation book and develop some resources that would reflect the natural beauty of our landscape in Aotearoa New Zealand. There was a major problem though. Neither Nette or I could take our concept and turn it into something tangible. Importantly, we needed to find a graphic artist that we both felt we could connect with. We needed a person who could take our ideas and create a beautiful bicultural meditation system and make it fly. Thankfully, Sasha Maya was that person. In 2017, Air New Zealand chose Stars of Aroha Meditations to feature as an audio book on their inflight entertainment system. Sasha did all the illustrations, graphics and book lay out – she even organised the printing side as well. She literally made our product fly.

From the first phone call Sasha was warm, interested and confident. Whew! I knew we were going to be okay. We met Sasha a few days later and we told her our story and how this led to our dream to make the first ever bicultural meditation book and resources from Aotearoa New Zealand. Sasha brought our meditation system to life. We could not have published our book, created our Stars of Aroha Star Cards or Native Wood Rolling Star without Sasha’s graphic knowledge artistic skills and industry expertise. Happily for me, Sasha and I are now working together on another project. She is an excellent communicator who works to an agreed time-schedule and budget and this is essential for any small business owner.

for all your design needs start to finish

how i can help. The first step is all about getting to understand my clients and their particular requirements. Then I tailor creative solutions to meet their needs. I’ve been freelancing in the industry for over 14 years in Auckland and have a team of specialists in their respective fields: photographers, sign writers, printers, developers, copywriters, marketing specialists, illustrators and more – with whom I collaborate on projects as required. This approach allows me to provide clients with the convenience of a ‘one stop shop’ for all their design requirements.
